I remember Lander! It was the only Windows game I could play on my family's first computer, because in SkiFree the Yeti kept eating me. Every now and then I'd get tired of landing the thing and instead, I'd see how far I could launch the lander skywards without having it leave orbit. Then laugh as it rushed towards the lunar surface at ever increasing velocity, and explode into flames on impact. "Nice crater! All that training really paid off." And sometimes, "You just dug a hole halfway to Clavius." Heh. It was a great game. Oh wow! I remember Lander! It was the only Windows game I could play on my family’s first computer, because in SkiFree the Yeti kept eating me.

I have fond memories of playing it during my childhood, so I was very honored and excited to receive permission and source code from George to make the port. It is on the Android Market <a href="http://market.android.com/details?id=com.pilot51.lander" rel="nofollow">here</a>. More details are also on my website <a href="http://lander.pilot51.com" rel="nofollow">here</a> (includes original Lander v1.1, v1.2, and v1.3).
